Why you need a professional photographer at your wedding

I know when talking about wedding budgets sometimes a way of trying to cut down your spending is to think that you do not need a photographer. Yes many of us have friends with a good camera or an uncle that did a photography class, but your wedding photos are what will be cherished way past your wedding day (as well as your partner & ring of course!) and so good quality images that have been captured by a professional are in our eyes essential. Photographers train, study and practise to refine their art….and it is an art. A good photo is more than just capturing a moment - it captures a feeling, the mood, the atmosphere and so much more. We are sure your friends uncle who would do it on the cheep would capture a record of the day, but images that you will cherish and want to spend hours looking at is real art.

The same goes for our rings. Sometimes people worry about spending out on a wedding ring and feel they should go for a cheeper option such as silver. We have spent years refining our art, the materials we use are high quality and hardwearing (our white gold is not rhodium plated and will retain its colour - see our blog post on metals). You want your wedding ring to last a lifetime and not have to replace it, cheeper materials can become brittle and fail. When you buy a Molten Wedding Ring you are buying quality and the fact we hand make our rings means you also get fantastic after sales care - we can add additional stones or resize down the line should you wish. We want you to cherish your ring for many years to come.

This stunning elopement shot in York shows how exceptional wedding portraits can be. We were thrilled to have provided rings for this shoot and just love how the rings have been captured in a creative way. The groom wears a Dart and the bride a Bray along side a Pearl Serendipity ring by our designer Erin Cox Jewellery.
