LGBTQ+ Black Pride

At Molten Wedding Rings we believe love is love. It doesn’t matter what colour your skin is, who you are marrying or how you identify yourself. We are doing our best to read and learn more so we can make sure everyone feels welcome and that you get the service you deserve and have the right to.

We were so thrilled when we were asked to supply rings for a LGBTQ wedding shoot with the fabulous James and Harvey and now even more over the moon that it has been featured as Rock My Wedding’s blog about UK Black Pride. Raising awareness is a way of ensuring wedding suppliers learn and grow, and start to make a change in the ‘white washed’ wedding imagery you see. All black lives matter - and awareness needs to continue to grow until this is a fact, not a movement.

UK Black Prided turned 15 on Sunday (16th August). Founded by Lady Phyll in 2005, UK Black Pride is now a safe and supportive space for people to celebrate who they are. Along with an annual event there is volunteers who work year round to offer support and a safe place to those who need it. This year the theme was ‘Home’.

“We hope to always be that place you feel you can come to when your feet are tired and your heart is heavy. We hope to continue to create spaces for you all that remind you that with us is one of the places where you belong.” UK Black Pride
