Corona Concerns

With over 1000 cases of corona now confirmed in the UK the government are beginning to discus the idea of ‘mass gatherings’ being banned. Couple’s soon to be holding their wedding worry about the effect this will have on their wedding day - will it be able to go ahead or not? There are limits already in place for flights to some countries which will impact couples having elopement weddings or honeymoons. Brides who are getting married later in the year are worrying about being able to get their wedding dress as many are produced out of the UK and factory closures and shipping may delay their dresses being created and sent in time.

Unfortunately we can not offer a solution to all of this. All we can do is reassure that our rings are created here in the UK. They are cast in Birmingham and we then finish them here in Exeter. We will continue to come into the workshop and create for as long as possible. As long as we can get the gold we will keep making. At the shop & workshop we are ensuring good hygiene in line with government guidelines. We are regularly washing our hands and using hand gel between customers.

Guides for brides have created a really helpful blog post around Corona and how it may effect your wedding day. It is being updated regularly too. You can find it here.

Stay safe everyone…and keep washing those hands!
